#24 looks a lot like me, except for the veritable waterfall of hair going down to her knees. Nobody has hair like that. Puh-lease.
Short haired dollies ROCK! Or at least shoulder-length, like Nellie's hair.
That is all. (This is my 100th post)

Thanks ag_rox for explaining that one!
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I agree completely. First of all it annoys me that brown eyes and hair is the most common caucasion combination yet only three dolls of over 20 have that look. There are many variations you can do with that alone and they simply haven't. Oh well.Quote:

Made to order dolls would be interesting but I can see where that would be very costly for AG which in turn makes it more costly for the customer. Mostly I would just like to see another doll with short hair and more minorities represented. I also think the label AGT was more appropriate but as I am only intereted in using that line to make my own historical characters, it really doesn't matter for me anyway!

I second all the posts for short-haired dollies! My daughter has short hair so no doll is "just like her".
I guess if they wanted to make one "just like me", though, it would need a whole lot more stuffing in its middle!

Oh I wish I was in charge of AG new product design! Wouldn't that be a dream job?!
As far as new AGs, I hope they come out with 3.
1. Red curly hair with Jess's face mold, #26's wig type, and hazel eyes with freckles!
2. Medium skin (like AGT #2) with #25's wig
3. Asian without bangs and short hair (like Kit's)
I want a doll with Hearing Aids!!! If they make glasses for the dolls why can't my doll have teal bionic ears?!? Then she's be just like me! She's even have a mini MR. BTE to keep her ears safe at night. (MR. BTE is a stuffed animal that looks like a hearing aid with arms and legs that holds hearing aids inside a special case)

I'd like an Asian with a different hair style -- ANY different hair style. No bangs, short hair, whichever.
Also, bring on the red heads.
And they probably need more Hispanic-esque dolls. At least throw a dark-skinned 25 in the mix.
Personally, I hope they don't make dolls with shorter hair. As a girl who does have long (waist-length) hair, I doubt they'll ever make a perfect mini- me for me. It's really easy to cut a doll's hair, which anyone who wants a short-haired doll can do (and you can cut it however you want! It's highly unlikely that AG will make the exact cut you want). You can't make it grow longer, aside from re-wigging, which makes her not fully AG (when cutting the hair, it's still the AG wig). Also, short hair isn't as fun for play, which I'm sure many girls (even some with short hair) would say, and AG probably knows that.
I want to see a new green eye color, or for them to use the hazel more often. Preferably on a doll with dark brown hair, and another on a girl with curly, red hair. And, perhaps, a new skin tone, a slightly darker Caucasian color, that's, maybe, more of an olive tone, instead of the pale white all the Caucasian AGs are.
I'd also like to see a new Asian, with no bangs, as many others have posted. Brown hair, brown eyes with no bangs needs to be made, too. And, if they're going to make a new blonde (which I wish they wouldn't), a nice dirty blonde/light brown color would be nice.
More girls of color would be great. Personally, I want a bangless AGT2, who I think could pass as both Hispanic and Native American.
I hope the new outfit won't be a dress. I like that the AGT meet outfits are normally slightly easy to mix and match with other pieces, but a dress probably won't be.
ooh, Cami and Shawna I like some of your ideas. I would LOVE to see a shorter haired AA doll. She would be perfect as Addy's friend Sarah. And I simply love that look anyway.
Olive skin would be a great addition to the caucasion dolls. Right now they all consist of pale, medium or dark complexions. But there are lots of us olive toned girls out there! As of right now none of the dolls coloring looks like mine. Although, ag15 does seem to be a slightly different color. She appears a little more ashen and lighter than ag2 who is supposedly the same color. For anyone who has ag15, would you consider her olive colored or more similar to ag2?
I'd like #25 with wavy hair to make my perfect River Tam doll and #23 with hazel or brown eyes and no freckles. She would be my Kaylee doll, but also would look most like how I currently look.
I also would like #25 with blue or green eyes.
More Asian dolls and more brown hair/eye combinations. It is true that it is one of the most common combinations for caucasians and it would be nice to see a broader selection of them.
I also like the idea of more short haired dolls. Many people do not like the idea of cutting doll hair and wouldn't feel up to doing it. Having dolls already with short hair makes life easier.
I also hope they don't retire #15.
